Duties of Principal

He/ She shall be responsible for all the administrative matters.
He/ She will represent the college at the university according to the rules.
He/ She will discharge all academic duties entrusted to him/her by the university i.e. attendance at meeting of the medical faculty etc. and will concern himself/herself with all matters of academic interest in the institution at all times.
He/ She will draw up and promulgate the detailed teaching program for students in accordance with the recommendations of the College Academic Council.
He/ She will draw up the agenda of the meetings of the College Academic Council.
He/ She will preside over the various academic functions of the college.
He/ She will sign and issue academic certificates in respect of students.
He/ She will be responsible for the compilation of all medical education and research data in his/her institution.
He/ She shall carry out any other duties that may be assigned to him/her from time to time by the Government of the Punjab.
He/ She will be the final authority in decision making in matters of discipline among the staff and students
